The short version

Your game progress stays on your device

Your scores, best runs, checkpoints, Monster Album cards, tasks, ribbons and porch decorations are saved only on your device. They are never sent to Derg AB or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The game is free and shows ads through Google AdMob, using the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent. Ads appear as a banner on the main menu, as a full-screen ad between runs, and as optional ads you choose to watch (for example to relight a pumpkin or to start from a later checkpoint). Ads never appear during a run.

When an ad is requested or shown, Google may collect and process data such as:

Google uses this data to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad (frequency capping), detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and measure and analyse ad performance. Google may process it outside your country, including in the United States.

The game does not ask for permission to track you (there is no App Tracking Transparency prompt). On iOS this means the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not available to Google, and ads are not personalised based on your activity in other companies’ apps and websites.

Learn how Google uses information from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another region where consent is required, the game shows Google’s consent form when it starts, before ads are requested, and you can accept or decline there. To change your choice later, tap Privacy in the top-left corner of the main menu; it reopens Google’s consent options.

Your rights

Derg AB holds no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For data Google processes when showing ads, you can use your choices above, or contact Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may also complain to your data protection authority; in Sweden that is IMY (https://www.imy.se).

Children

The game is spooky-cute and made for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date, and the App Store privacy details will be updated to match.
